The majority of rapes are committed by men against women, and therefore should be considered an act of misogyny and forced power over women. This should be classified as a hate crime as well as a sexual assault, with both the gender, race, orientation, religion AND age of the victims considered as a target of hatred. It would be difficult for offenders to escape the charges of both rape and committing a hate crime, and more and more of these monsters will be sent and kept in jail for they did.
