How students look at MRSA--Staph Infection.

Within the past few weeks, Staph has been reported in 7 U.S states. These states include: New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Indiana, Maryland, Virginia and yes,West Virginia! This "super bug" is antibiotic-resistant, and will not even respond to penicillin. It can be spread by skin-to-skin contact or by sharing an item used by an infected person, particularly one with a cut or abrasion. A number of the cases have involved student athletes. West Virginia State University has reported nine of it's players having Staph and ordered for the others to be tested. As students, we're worried about our well being in schools. This infection is deadly! So if you believe all states should shut down schools (if even for a day) to clean them properly, and let the infection die down sign below.

I think that it's dangerous that we have potential exposure to a deadly disease that can be rid from our schools just by a simple 2 day close and clean. I'm a high-school student and I support this petition.
