http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/StopRacism/ We hear it everyday. The "n" word against African-Americans, dego against Italians, beaner against Hispanics. We talk to our administrators and maybe the people that are saying it get a phone call home, but it's obviously not enough to make them stop doing it. There's a guy in my school, and everytime he sees me coming he says something like "Oh look here comes the dego girl." We've all been called something that insults our race, religon, or hertitage. We've all been discriminated against sometime or another. If the people we talk to about it, our principals, teachers, etc. won't do anything about it, who's to say WE can't? Why should we let them keep on "taking care of it" when it's having no effect? It's time we, the people who are being harrassed and discriminatd against take this into our own hands.
