Let IB kids in Tampa, FL choose their school

With three IB schools in Tampa, FL, the city has created zoning control so students are forced to go to a specific school against their choice. The kids in the east go to King, kids in the north go to Hillsborough, and the kids in the South and west go to Robinson.
Many future IB kids are devastated by this act and desperately want to see their friends in High School but will not be able to due to the zoning. Or they want a different atmosphere to school in.
Since IB kids are being chosen because of their intelligence, they should be smart enough to choose the right school. Some want to go to another because of a better program, or better teachers but the zoning confides them to their chosen school.

Please sign if you believe students should be able to choose their IB school, no matter the distance if they are able to get to the school.

I support this. I live in a town with multiple IB schools too. We were allowed to choose which school we wanted to go to. If I had been forced to go the other IB school, I do not think that I would have been as happy or perhaps I would have even dropped out. It is an elite group of students with great potential. Do not hold them back by limiting them.
