		<title>Bring back The L Word</title>
		<link>http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/TheLword/</link>
<description>Although the show contained mainly lesbian material, the show was still really good and i enjoyed watching. (Note: that doesn&amp;#39;t automatically make me a lesbian) The characters were deep and talented and they all seemed to know how to act, unlike other so called actresses who don&amp;#39;t really deserve that label at all.
I just want channel 7 to bring the L word back to Tues nights at 10.30pm. That&amp;#39;s all i ask. Thankyou.</description>

LONDON (Reuters) - Crude oil prices rose to $61 a barrel on news of the Saudi king&amp;amp;#39;s death, supporting European stock markets, while expectations of more U.S. rate hikes hit government bonds but failed to revive a flagging dollar rally.

The gains in crude and heavily weighted oil stocks were muted though and Saudi stocks rebounded from early declines as markets were reassured of a smooth succession in the world&amp;amp;#39;s biggest oil exporter after King Fahd&amp;amp;#39;s demise.

The euro firmed to as high as $1.2223 -- its strongest level against the dollar since the Chinese yuan revaluation -- after data showed manufacturing activity picking up in the euro zone for the first time since March.

&amp;amp;quot;(It) means the euro area has turned the corner and, if this is the start of a trend, then we should be looking at stronger growth in second half of the year,&amp;amp;quot; James Nixon at Barclays Capital said.

Spot gold prices hit a four-week high and platinum scaled a 15-week peak as the weaker dollar, rather than any safe-haven worries due to events in Saudi Arabia, spurred buying of the precious metal complex, traders said.
