However, the ratings were the worst on FOX television. Luckilly, Friends finally went off the air and FOX renewed Tru Calling for two reasons... they needed to fill the timeslot and they felt that ratings would probably go up since Friends has ended and since everyone knew that it was their last season, people went crazy for that series although I don't understand why. Please sign this petition to keep Tru Calling alive. It is about a girl who works in a morgue and has a calling to keep people alive. When a body comes into the morgue that died un-naturally, they ask for help and her day rewinds and she has to do everything she can to stop the death from taking place. Now during the next season, there is a great twist. Jason Priestly was casted onto the show and he is a great villain. His character is her opposite. He also relives days when a body asks for help but he does everything in his power to make sure they die again... and this time stay dead! So it is going to be a rockin season when these two collide!
