http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/aimchat/ We have created this petition to respectfully ask America Online to allow its users to use the old-style AIM chat rooms. While we understand the need for upgrades to certain software, many users were disappointed at the removal of the Userplane chat rooms. The majority of former AIM users are now either unsuccessfully attempting to find new alternative chats or have just stopped chatting. We would at least appreciate the option to use the old chat rooms as was possible earlier in the year. We hope you are able to at least take this under consideration as many of us no longer are able to keep ties with those we've met on over the years on the old style AIM chat rooms because we are just unable to assimilate to the new-style rooms. We would be extremely appreciative of America Online if they allowed access to the old-style chat rooms with live user audio/video feeds.
