Coca Cola - Bring Back C2

Having introduced the only successful hybrid soda on the market, one which has been credited with helping millions of Coke drinkers lose weight, and providing millions of people such as diabetics with the ability to once again drink cola, Coke basically killed their own hybrid product, C2, by channelling all the time and energy they were throwing at C2 into marketing for Coke Zero, which is a good alternative for Diet Coke drinkers who want less of a chemical flavor, but which is not an acceptable alternative for most who like Coke or C2. Without fanfare, Coke quietly stopped making it and suddenly C2 drinkers were stranded, knowing that only one bottler still made it, and even that bottler would stop in April. Coke promised for 2 1/2 years that they had no plans to discontinue this product, yet they just quietly stopped making it one day, leaving all of us who loved the product and had no drinkable alternative, to just go off cola cold turkey. For them to say the product was not enough of a money maker is simply to say that they can't afford to keep all 21 cola flavors in their lineup and would rather go with Zero because it has the buzz...clearly this was a successful product based on the sheer number of places it was once available, and the fact that when the options started to dry up, they never had enough available to meet the demand in any market (most retailers kept about a dozen 12 packs on the shelf at any given time, yet all 12 of those spots were generally empty when someone went to buy it...seems they should have expanded the availability, not decimated it). With a little commitment to marketing, Coke could have a unique product in the marketplace which would be poised to gain market share as people move further and further away from empty calories for preference and/or health reasons. A lot of people are diabetic because they drank too much Coke, and they are not going to readily switch to Diet or Zero, but most of them would go to C2 if they were given the chance. Coke needs to bring this product back with great fanfare, and stop making diet mint vanilla cherry strawberry orange lemon lime tofu banana hamburger chestnut chocolate cardomom flavored soda, or whatever the ill conceived product of the week might be. Bring back C2 now!!!!!!

I support this petition. This was hands down the best Coke product ever put to market. It flew off the shelves here in south Florida. I wonder why they pulled it? I think it was even better tasting than regular Coke. Much smoother and no diet aftertaste. Please bring it back!!!

I support this petition. I really hope that Coca-Cola brings back the C2 product--I can\'t drink the Coke Zero beverage because of the nasty taste of the NutraSweet.
