http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/bringbackcharlie/ In the season three finale of ABC's LOST, Charlie Pace (Dominic Monaghan) was killed off. The writers have said that it was a hard choice to kill off Charlie but felt that he had no where else to go. As proven by his fans and even some people that didn't care for him, the character of Charlie still had a lot of room to grow and shouldn't of had to die. Dominic Monaghan has also stated that LOST is a good job, and it's been hinted that he is upset about having to leave, especially since he didn't request it - it was all a choice made by the writers. There was a Save the Junkie, Save the World petition by Kristin from E! and also other various petitions from Charlie fans - all of these were obviously overlooked. I don't know what good it is to do this, though, but I hope we can get through to the writers. Here are some things you can do to help: 1) Sign the petition *2) Write a letter to the writers, asking them to bring Charlie back. *3) Write a letter to Dominic, asking him to consider a return to the show if the writers ask him to come back. *(you can e-mail me the letters to lostonanisland815@excite.com and I will somehow get them to Dominic/Darlton. I might get in touch with Kristin from E! since she has those connections. Either way, I will somehow get those things through to them.) Now, please, no one get their hopes up. This is a pretty big jump but if we want to attempt something like this we need to start now. So please, write letters and SIGN THIS PETITION and we're off to a good start. Note: Charlie's death was kind of left up in the open although the writers did confirm he was dead. There are a lot of ways to recover from the way he died (drowning). I don't see how his death will affect the entire story as a whole, so bringing him back would not be a big deal in the story. Although he was supposed to die to get them rescued. But there are a lot of things the writers could do to switch that around, still without affecting the rescue or the outcome of Lost as a whole. The big thing is this: Desmond's flashes were never formally explained. This would give them a chance to explain them. So, please please please: if you support Charlie Pace and Dominic Monaghan, don't hesitate and take action and we'll see what comes of this. He really is the heart of the show. If his death was not planned since the beginning, I see no reason to go through with it. There are plenty of places to go with him now that he's not a junkie. His relationship with Claire and Aaron was never fully explained. Maybe he could come back and finally he and Claire would get together. If they're getting off the island, I would love to see what their life would be like together as a family. The show will suffer without Charlie.
