Melrose place was a spin-off of the tv phenomenon Beverly Hills 90210. This show featured household names such as Heather Locklear, Marcia Cross, and Courtney Thorne-Smith. This television show was unlike any other primetime soap opera on television at the time. It featured sex, seduction, cheating, betrayel, murder,explosions, and people coming back from the dead. In fact, as years went on, storylines became more and more outrageous and more fun to watch! Melrose Place sadly went off the air in 1999. What is even more devastating for the fans is that we had to wait until 2006 to buy season one on dvd. While seasons 2, 3 and 4 shortly followed the dvd release of season one, here we are a couple years later waiting for season five to get released. Rumor has it that due to the &quot;poor sales&quot; of the season four dvd, seasons 5-7 may never get released. Melrose Place fans deserve better. Fans who were so dedicated to the soap that they watched every single episode on the orginal air-date deserve to have the complete series on dvd. Fans who only started watching the show when it got released on dvd deserve to find out what happens to their favorite characters and their favorite storylines. I ask you to please sign this petition and also to write and keep writing Paramount to let them know you want Melrose Place seasons 5-7 on dvd to add to your dvd collection. Most likely if the sales of volume one are high, they will release volume two as well. So please help me promote the release of this dvd. post this release date wherever you can. The more people that know about it, the more purchases we can expect of this dvd.
