We are in DESPERATE need of a Bachelor and Master's degree program at WVSU nevertheless in the state of WV! These programs will begin a whole new chapter in education of Mental Health and Disabilities plus the proper training needed in this area! Mental Health services hire people with a High School Diploma/GED and a valid driver's license. They have no experience or training in this area! Do you really want your loved ones being taken care of people who have no experience or proper training in this field? Graduates, Students, and Future Students do not want to be forced out of the state to further their education and find jobs! There has been and still is currently a problem with people leaving the state after getting their education or leaving the state to further their education and never returning, because of better career opportunities elsewhere. Do not force us to leave also! More than 6,000 people between 18 and 34 in 1990 left the state by 2000. An additional 17% of young West Virginians believed they would move in the next five years, according to a poll conducted for The Herald-Dispatch, West Virginia Public Broadcasting and WMUL-FM(www.marshall.edu/cber/media/02-HD-road.PDF) Are you concerned with how much these numbers have increased since?
