Apple, stop supporting inhumane work practices!

In recent news, Apple has been shown to support inhumane work practices. Foxconn, the company that produces some models of the iPod, has been driving their employees to work 60+ hours a week, while bringing home only $50 a month pay.

In China, working this much overtime is illegal, according to Chinese labor laws.
Foxconn recently announced, after a pair of journalists had their assessts frozen and arrested, that Apple has already investigated this and "found nothing wrong with all of this."

Apple already charges a premium for their over-hyped devices that many people have in their homes and their "iLife's." Why haven't they drawn a contract with their manufacturers about work and pay policy? Sky high profits are more important to them and their stock holders compared to the lives of their workers.

Apple contracts its work out to another company, and that still makes Apple directly responsible for the work conditions of its producers.Sure, Apple says that there was no forced labor. As we all know though, when your boss says to stay late and you don't, what happens? Thats right, you get fired. Seems pretty forced to me.

Please, sign this petition and lets show that Apple isnt above the law, and that these Chinese workers need to support their families.

So their products are average IMO, way overpriced, and they aren't even built humanely. I think Apple should have to pay outstanding ouvertime pay to it's chinese employees.
