It’s not getting cancelled, but there are reasons to believe that it could get cancelled. First off, the ratings are lower than usual. They have I believe an estimated 11 Million Viewers, which is good, but shows like Blind Justice that were even more popular than CIC got cancelled. Secondly, a lot of the time, it’s about commercials. Usually ABC and other stations want to score in a younger age category, such as people in the 20’s, because they will usually buy more things than someone who is older. Well, CIC has a lot of older viewers. That usually won’t be a problem, because if the shows popular, than hey, that’s cool, but it won’t help ABC at all when it comes to commercials and such. Therefore, a lot of shows with an older number of fans will probably get cancelled quicker than one with younger. There are also other reasons to believe that ABC could at least be considering canceling the show. First off, there were supposed to be 22 episodes this season. Instead, there were 19. Secondly, they have gone a hiatus already, and they’re going on another one once again. So even though there is no confirmation that the show is getting cancelled, there are reasons to believe that it could get cancelled, which is why we ask that you please sign this petition.
