It is important that craigslist stop this for the safety of babies and childrens. Carseats expire because the plastic on them breaks down, weakens, and eventually turns into plastic dust. After the carseats expiration date, the plastic on the shell of the carseat and the carseats base is too weak to withhold a car crash. A lot of people don't know that carseats expire so a lot of people are buying these carseats off of craigslist.com and risking the safetyand lives of their child, without even knowing it!
