Fight Net Censorship / Keep Manson-Tate Crime Scen...

You would not believe (well, maybe you would) the number of moronic people who believe that the content of the Internet is able to be controlled and regulated by services such as Google, AOL, etc.

For example, there is a petition on this very website asking people to sign if they want Google to "remove" photos of the murder scene of actress Sharon Tate from their search engines.

I know next to nothing about how the Internet works, but at least I know that no one, not Google nor anyone else, has the ability or power to remove anything from the Internet. And the bigger picture is, isn't this censorship in its most blatant form? What's next with these people, removing pictures of the Salem witch trials from the history books? Blocking images of the war in Iraq from nightly newscasts?

Basically I'm asking everyone who wants to "keep the Sharon Tate photos on the Internet" (ha ha) and who is against fools who espouse censorship in general to sign this petition. I would love nothing more than to see this get more signatures that the anti-crime photo petition...

I believe the Sharon Tate Crime Scene Photos should remain on this site, as a reminder of what those deranged killers did back in August 1969. Yes I agree the photos are gruesome, but I've seen alot worse photos on this site. We can't change what happened to Sharon Tate and the others...if I had that power, I would. It's sad and sickening of what happened to the victims. Maybe when the public views these photos, maybe they can help Sharon's sister Debbie in her fight to keep these killers behind bars for the rest of their lives. Those who apose these pictures beening displayed on this sight, maybe they should start a petition to help keep these killers behind bars everytime one of them come up for parole. These killers robbed their victims of the right to live. For that, the killers should be robbed of their right to ever be set free to live out their lives...and maybe when the public sees these crime scene photos, maybe than can do something about it! I know I've done my part many times. The first time I saw these photos and saw each and every victim and the brutallity that was done, I wrote the Tate Family as so many others have in the past, to help in their quest to keep these killers from being paroled. These photos serve a purpose and should not be removed!
