I know this'll make me sound old (which I'm not) but does anyone remember when bus prices were like half of what they are now? If the government are so concerned about the environment with their campaigns for everyone to take the bus instead of cars to reduce fuel emmissions, they'd offer incentives or at least stop raising the prices. Why take the bus when you can drive there, at least it's more convenient, on time and reliable. I hate public transport, stemming for having to get a minimum of 4 long bus rides each day and these stupidly high prices and damn unreliability is helping nobody. Help make people eventually listen to these problems! Now they're £1.20 - this increased from 70p in about 6 months. NOW they're planning for under 16's to go free, which will mean yet more of an increase on top of that £1.20 - The government OBVIOUSLY doesn't care about the environment, just their paychecks. Takes the piss.
