http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/darkwaterremake/ I have noticed, in the commercals for the American remake of Dark Water, it says "From the author of 'The Ring'" this is not correct. It is by the author of RINGU, or Ring, not 'The Ring'. I, and several other people I know, would like this to be changed. Simply because we don't like it when remakes are made out to be fully original. For example, The Ring, which I saw years ago, never stated it was a remake on commercals, or the DVD. I know I might have missed it, but it took me several years to find out it WAS a remake. I don't want that to happen with Dark Water. All this petition is asking for, really is for that one bit of the commercal to be changed. If that doesn't happen, it wont be the worst thing in the world, but myself and others would like for it to not imply it was by and American author.
