http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/falseinfo/ A website by the name of Carm.org is putting out false information on all diffrent types of religous groups and other things.To begin with,It states that Jehovah wittnesses ARE NOT a christian group,and DO NOT get all thier beliefs from the bible.This alone has made me explode with anger.Jehovah wittnesses DO belive in jesus,ARE christian and DO get thier beliefs from the bible.It also has a list of religious "cults" and the Jehovah Wittnesses are on the list.Jehovah Wittnesses ARE NOT AT ALL a cult!They are christians who get every single bit of information from the bible.This website has also put that The Jehovah Wittnesses take and add information to the bible,so that it would fit what they believe,rather than what is actully in the bible.This is also,a false statement.In the book of revelation,It simply states that: And if anyone takes away from the words of this scroll of this prophecy,God will take his portion away from the trees of life and out of the holy city things that are writen about in this scroll Rev 22:19.I am truly offended by the false acuzations on this site.I think that this website should wither be shut down,or at least equiped with true information. It is more to be accademic when doccumenting the truth but also in service to God. The Ante-Nicene Fathers are misquoted, and what is amazing is that in one instance there exist no current evidence (there exist other Church Fathers' arguements) for Origen calling Christ a creature (I do not know the exact words, but the source where the JWS get their evidence from, i.e. Alvin Lamson shows in the footnote were there exists no dirrect evidence). In another instance the JWS actually contradict theirselves (see Jeromes statement of saying that Origen said that Christ was not begotten but created). I have evidence for the JWS propagated their view in other areas. They argue about the deffinate article not being used at Jn 1:1, and they say that Lord is a cheap substitute. If you look, in the Greek at Rev 4:4 uses "Lord and God." In other instances the deffinate article is used for both God the Father and of Christ. I was told by an educated JW named Robert Land that "I'm sure that if you go digging up dirt in any organization you're going to find problems." Apparently this friend, whom I will not mention his name to protect his privacy, did not stop to think about how serious the issue really was. I think the truth of the matter is, is that the Watchtower takes, and adds to its own likings. I would recomend looking to were the words Everlasting Father, and time indefinate are used in the OT. They fail to mention that at Proverbs 8, that it is used there. The Hebrew language was less ambiguous than any other, and infinity means just that. The Watchtower quotes, I believ it is Rev 4:4, but fail to mention that "beginning of the world," does not have to mean Christ being created.
