http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/folondisney/ The Facts of Life is a wonderful classic, that deals with the lives and problems of Jo Polnichek, a tough street kid from the bronx, Blair Warner, a rich, spoiled, beautiful, brat who is used to getting her way, Natalie Green, the sensible kid, and Dorothy "Tootie" Ramsey, a cute little black kid who is the resident gossip of the Eastland School for Young Women, and last but not least, Mrs. Edna Garrett, the school dietician, mentor, and confidant to the girls. In 1985 Mrs. G's son, Raymond, bought her an old run down shop, which she created into "Edna's Edibles", a gourmet food shop, Natalie and Tootie, still at Eastland, and Blair and Jo, now at college, move in with her and work at her shop. Then in 1985, a fire destroyed "Edna's Edibles", and they created it into and updated version of a 1950s malt shop, called "Over Our Heads". Shortly after, Mrs. Garrett, got married and tearfully moved away, and was replace by her sister, Beverly Ann, played by Cloris Leachman.
