<title>Alternative Sentencing Leniency for Ms. Jackson</title>
		<link>http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/forMsJackson/</link>
<description>I, Sandra Jackson am at the mercy of the Court. Since my judgement on DUI charges &amp;amp; sentencing, dated, 03/19/2008, I was given the option of an Alternative Sentence of providing 138 hours of Volunteer work..At that time in my life, I chose to do my volunteer work at a church, that I felt could really utilize my assistance.

During that tumultuous year, I have not only lost my job, but also lost my house to the foreclosure mess that over-ran this country from greedy mortgage companies and Real Estate fraud. I was left homless and had no where to turn. I was also in a situation where I had experienced Domestic Violence and was sexually assaulted for three days straight. Unsure, if I was ever going to see my family again, I pulled it together and tried to live a normal life. I hid it away in drinking &amp;amp; denial. I had no family in California to turn to, so I turned to AA meetings volunatrily to help me thru it. I contacted the Police as well as WEAVE to get the assistance that I needed. No one was willing to help me.
I understand the courts must judge me on &amp;quot;not providing the correct amount of hours of community service&amp;quot;, that I was sentenced for, but I have done community service in other ways, not mandated by the courts; i.e; I have volunteered for the Police Department in the VIP program &amp;amp; I have donated clothes &amp;amp; time to the Homeless Shelters, Loaves &amp;amp; Fishes as well as setting up a charity for the homeless thru a on-line store I have. All I ask is forgiveness, so I may resume my life and try to live in peace.
I ask forgivemess of the Courts as well in God&#039;s Name, for HE knows of my pain &amp;amp; sorrow of these past years. </description>
