<title>Florida State University Living Wage Campaign</title>
		<link>http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/fsulivingwage/</link>
<description>We, the undersigned, petition the Administration of FSU to adopt an ordinance which mandates that all current and future employees of FSU are paid, at minimum, a Living Wage, as defined and adjusted by the cost of living in Tallahassee, Florida.

We understand that all full time workers deserve a living wage and that the health, safety and prosperity of FSU employees require wages that afford a comfortable lifestyle. We also understand that many of FSU&rsquo;s workers live below the poverty line, struggling to pay for basic necessities and take care of their families. Additionally, our communities&rsquo; service economies, especially small businesses, benefit from citizens having disposable income. Furthermore, many working men and women are unable to exercise their rights to fair labor negotiations.

As a socially responsible institution, we believe Florida State University should adopt an ordinance mandating that all current and future employees of FSU are paid, at minimum, a Living Wage, as defined and adjusted by the cost of living in Tallahassee, Florida to best honor their labor and innate human dignity.</description>
