Petition for the release of the original Smile tap...

We realize that Brian Wilson recently released his own new version of the Smile album in October of 2004. However, this was a "new" version, not the real deal!

We want a box set containing all the original Smile-era recordings, with the original Frank Holmes artwork. You can even let Mike Love write the liner notes, so that he wont feel left out.

Is that too hard?

This way, Capitol wont lose money to the bootleggers and Mike Love will actually have something new to tour behind.

I support this petition. Smile may be the greatest thing ever record in pop music history. We must me allowed to hear this to pass it foward to new generations as I will pass on Brahms' German Requiem to my children.
