Petition Against Google

Dear Google,

As collective webmasters and search users of Google, we are increasing becoming dissatisfied with the results. Non-relevant sites are more and more being placed ahead of relevant sites in search results. Furhtermore, established sites that do not use any type of unethical or forbiddened search engine optimization are seemingly being punished or, at a minimum, being pushed backwards several pages in the search results.

Please understand that our complaint is not with the ranking of our individual sites, but rather the drop in quality of the search results. Search term after search term yields non-relevant sites placed ahead of relevant sites.

These problems have been particularly evident since mid-December and appear to have worsened over time instead of improving. We ask you, Google, to fix these problems immediately.

Upon request, we will be happy to provide you both specific search querries, examples of non-relevant sites within those results, and urls for the type of relevant sites we would have expected to have seen within the first 1-3 pages of a search querry.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Wah wah! If your business is page-view driven then invest people, time and money on keeping your page near the top. That's the way of the world, optimise or die! Why should google care about your company and the fact you can't set your site up to appear most relevant to certain search terms. The google algorithm is the best out there, otherwise they wouldn't be the most popular search engine, and users wouldn't use it. The pages you are looking for come consistently near the top.You are obviously a small company else a small slip on the search pages would have cost you major revenue and you would have thrown some man power at fixing it instead of saying:

We're glad you've started this petition. It is a prime example of the stupidity, frivolity, ignorance and inexperience propagating the Internet today. We'll make sure this petition gets top billing so people can see just how much of a complete moron you are.

I support this petition. Google's actions regarding the censorship in China are greedy and hypocritical. They continue to say that it is against their "core" beliefs, but there is obviously one core belief that's directing all the others, and it's green.

I support this petition. Google is an ad farm and nothing less. My site has gone from 2000 visits a day to 300 with no changes. That with over 50 pages listed. What good does it do when you or up against paid listings and so called SEO. SEO my butt, they have just figured it out or paid for adsense. Google has ruined 1000s of businesses like ours. May they burn in Hades. And what is worse is no one else seems to be able to challenge them. Not even MSN. Maybe because they are using the google engine? Google has done more to ruin ecommerce than any 1 entity; even spammers.
