http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/jessemaxiestory/ This petition has been started to voice the discontent involving the future of the character Jesse on ABC’s General Hospital, as well as the coupling of Jesse and Maxie. Since the first arrival of Jesse in Port Charles and his pairing with Maxie- he has gained an amazing fan base, warming his way into the hearts of over 500 dedicated viewers. However, in the past two months, Jesse has not seen any major storylines other than sharing a small part in the disappearance of Lucky during the epidemic. Likewise, the relationship between Jesse and Maxie has been all but forgotten. The supporters of this petition feel that Matt Marraccini and Kirsten Storms are part of an amazing cast of young actors and actresses that are not being used to their full potential. We the viewers want to see the following on General Hospital: ~ Let Jesse Beaudry explore his past- we know he has one- USE IT! Matt Marraccini has an amazing talent and range in expressing emotion- give him a chance to use that talent! ~ Allow the teens to be equals in storyline’s involving older characters. ~ There is great chemistry between the cop duo of Jesse and Lucky- let them have more airtime and involve them in bigger storylines! ~ Don’t begin a storyline (i.e. PCU Stalker) and then drop it to make room for other storylines that don’t involve the teens- carry the stories through. ~ The young cast of General Hospital has amazing potential- don’t take it for granted by hiding them behind the older actors and reused storylines! ~ Don’t just have the relationship between Jesse and Maxie occasionally mentioned- give it airtime- let them truly express how they feel to each other, verbally and physically- we want to see it move to the next level! DO NOT BREAK THEM UP! Matt and Kirsten have great chemistry- the viewers want to see it, NOT OCCASIONALY- but on a REGULAR BASIS.
