Anime is in many ways better than the media that is found on our t.v. most cartoons are just slap stick comedy that takes very little brain power. Anime has better written stories, for the most part. While some anime may be below some peoples morals, you will have to trust people to make good judgment. America is, after all, the land where anything is possible. it is a new genre that many take interest to. Please don't ban anime. There are many anime shows that can teach about more than just a different culture, but also history, many of these shows inspire kids to do art, write stories. I have on occasion seen some that show study habits of some Japanese people that make me want to study harder. I know you are just trying to stop something bad, but not all anime is bad.
