KEEP DOUBLE ARTS IN WEEKLY SHOUNEN JUMP!

In early September 2008, Double Arts was discontinued from Weekly Shounen Jump due to low ratings. This petition is for the continuation of this series.

There are lots of us out there who love Double Arts, for a variety of reasons: the clean and detailed art, the dynamic characters, the unique and creative plot, the smooth flow of the manga and its intense portrayal of all actions and movements, etc; I mean, who can really bear to hate it?

For me, it was one of the series that I personally wanted to see through at least 100 chapters. I thought this was going to be the next great Shounen Jump series, and I think many, if not most, people agree, based on the comments that I've read.

For those of you not familiar with the story, here's a summary/teaser:

&quot;A boy and a girl are forced to join hands for all eternity!?
In a land ravaged by an epidemic known as &quot;Troy&quot;, the only people with healing arts capable of stopping the seizures caused by the disease are the Sisters. Although they have a high resistance to the disease, they are searching for a person who is truly immune, so that they can find a cure. The main character is Sister Elraine, one of the Sisters who becomes infected with Troy. But, when she touches Kiri, a seemingly ordinary boy, her seizures stop. Could he be the one!?&quot; (Mangaupdates) To see reviews, http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=26485

PLEASE SIGN YOUR NAME IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE CONTINUATION OF DOUBLE ARTS IN WEEKLY SHOUNEN JUMP.

Tell me if there's anything else I should add.

ONCE 1000 USERS ARE REACHED ILL SEND A MESSAGE TO SHOUNEN JUMP WITH A LINK TO THIS PETITION.

WORK HARD PEOPLE!! GET YOUR FRIENDS TO SIGN. (I know I am). :)

------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />Added by sour_lemon_1k @ April 25, 2009, 12:10 pm<br />------------------------------------------------------------------------<br />I've sent out the letter to Shonen Jump. But, since I can't speak or write in Japanese, the best I could do was send it to the English Jump. I'm currently enlisting friends to help translate a letter for me to the Japanese SJ, but in the meantime, I need you guys to help!!

Anyone here who can speak/write Japanese, I want you guys to start appealing to the Japanese community as well. Send letters, emails, anything to the Japanese Shonen Jump. Even try calling them:
http://www.shueisha.co.jp/allinquiry/index.html

But remember to be nice! Don't make them mad.

For others out there who want to help but are utterly useless in Japanese like me---LINK!! Link to this petition, advertise it! We want this to spread. :) The more supporters, the more impact we have. And the more impact, the better chance that Double Arts will continue!

I support this petition. The manga has great potential. However, the only let down is that it stops at chapter 23. Many people would like to see the continuation of the series.
