The fall of the club is unprecedented, from the verge of European glory to the verge of bankruptcy, with no sign of a silver lining in the bleak cloud hanging over Elland Road. The decision on whether the club which has thousands of fans, not only in Leeds but around the world, is even able to compete next season is undecided, with no comment from the Football League on whether they will allow the club to start the season. Some 9,000 Leeds fans have already pledged their support for the club and bought season tickets for next season. These fans have followed the club across the world for many years, and now face the realisation of not having a football team to support. Football is already a dying breed with rising ticket prices and deminishing attendances, this football club and in particular it's fans, must be spared from extinction.
