http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/marvelcomics/ This petition is to address the recent price increases in Marvel comics over the past year and to demand a return to the original price of $2.50 (US Dollars) per issue. Over the past year since around August 2005, many of Marvel's monthly issues have increased in price by $0.74 (US Dollars). This is a considerable change when taking into account that over the timeframe of 14 years the price had only increased by $1.00 (US Dollars). This is an unacceptable change and cannot be tolerated, seeing as how the price of a product severly impacts the desire of an individual to make a purchase. All people who sign this petition indicate their desire for sensible pricing so that their interests in Marvel comics may continue unfettered. When a sufficient number of signatures has been collected, this petition will then be sent to the attention of Marvel CEO Alan Fine and Chairman Emeritus Stan Lee.
