http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/methadoneno1/ We, the undersigned residents of Southbridge, object to the proposed Methadone Clinic courtesy of Spectrum Health Systems, in the back of the Caprera Law Firm on Main Street. We do not agree that Methadone is a short-term cure, and rather, is a long-term treatment that will cause further blight upon Southbridge. We also believe that Southbridge was mislead by Spectrum under the guise of the "Dover Amendment", which states that education will be provided in order to avoid the zoning constraints. It is not possible to provide education during 3-5 minute visits. We ask for an immediate hearing to be held by The Town of Southbridge, open to residents who may question Spectrum, specifically as to their exact formalized educational form for each patient on a daily basis.
