It died a sudden painful death and this petition is to demand the revival of the great online service. Recently 2 Monster Hunter games were released for the PSP with additional features and titles, but it hardly meets expectations. Neither versions contain an online service, only LAN. Not only that, but coming across friends or people in the real world with both a PSP and a version of Monster Hunter is drastically low. Even now Capcom plans on releasing it for the Wii. Well, what if us Monster Hunter gamers can't afford a Wii? What if we don't like the Wii? (specifically its online multiplayer). It was made for a normal controller, enough said! The game's purpose was almost certainly online use as it was advertised for months detailing how better it would be to play this with friends across the globe, they were right. I really love this game and when i could play it online on the ps2 with my friends, and other online people. This game is meant to be played online. I still play the game, actually i am playing it on my television right now as i am typing this. I am playing offline, and i find it very different compared to the fun i had online. Quests were really enjoyable, and i would definitely support it on the ps3 and if additional quests were to be made downloadable content for $ i would definitely buy it and i\'m sure everybody else would as well. Instead of charging for online play, why not make dlc so at least it can make up for some of the $ that would be charged by monthly fees. Even armor and weapons can be purchased would be great at a reasonable price for example once the player gets the material to be able to make the weapon. I really love this game. Please bring it back online, and for the ps3. And especially in Japan, ps3 sales are back up over the wii. I\'m sure everybody would really love playing this on the ps3 as well. I understand it has high costs, but it\'s something that needs to be done.
