Return Adoption and Marriage Rights to Homosexuals

I believe the laws on rights for those of Bisexual or Homosexual orientation are inhumane and unjust. You are violating rights given by the government and God. It is an abomination and a disgrace to yourselves. I understand there's a certain fear; you do not understand homosexuality and cannot identify with it, so you seek to destroy it. You are failing as government officials by letting your power trips go this far. You fail to understand that reguardless of sexuality, we are all human beings. You can easily be compared to the racist Caucasians in earlier times (and even now) that use power as an excuse to alienate people of another race.
Every person in this country should have a right to marriage. If Homosexual couples cannot be wed in holy matrimony, it would be fair to take marriage rights away from heterosexual couples as well. It is also everyone's right to adopt a child. Again, in order to justify your sick laws, you would need to take the right away for heterosexual couples. You complain that there is no need for children to live that kind of lifestyle. People can be good parents as homosexuals. There is terrible parenting in heterosexual homes. Do you think that the sexual orientation changes the parenting style?
As stated above, you are violating natural, unalienable rights. You are prohibiting pursuit of Hapiness, a direct violation of our Constitution. These rights are unalienable. If you are allowed to have them, they are as well, and you have no authority to take those away.
The members of Congress may argue that only homosexual and bisexual people are petitioning and protesting, but many heterosexual people are fed up and disgusted. We are petitioning that the rights of HUMAN BEINGS be returned to them, these demands entitling the right for homosexual couples to be wed and to adopt children, and a public apology for your disgusting over-use of power.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Added by JenTheNinja @ April 11, 2009, 4:10 pm
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I would like to add that many 'studies' have reported statistics about failing grades, homosexuality, and substance abuse and what not that will dissuade heterosexual families to allow homosexual couples to adopt. But I would rather my parents be gay than be abused. I was abused for seven years. My grades slipped. I thought of suicide. Those so called 'statistics' aren't ONLY true in homosexual homes. So consider this. Abuse rates have no effect from the parent's sexuality. Substance abuse, drugs... It's all the same. I'm a Christian of good faith. God tells us to love everyone. I'm fighting for the people who apparently don't count as everyone. Give their rights back.

I do, of course, support this petition! I myself am gay and live in the UK, and it\'s things like those that you\'ve pointed out that disgusts me.
In my dA journal two journals ago, I even expressed strong fears and worries about stuff going on regarding this.
