Please help protect large breed dogs from being victomised by organizations that exist only to condenm them for "looking" dangerous. As we speak bills are being passed to ban or severily restrict several large breeds. only because of the few rare instances of badly behaved animals that are envolved in attacks. I am not denying that the attacks happen but all breeds are dangerous to an extent not just large breeds. Would you punish all poodles and there owners because a few of them have bitten? No... I dont think so. So why treat other dogs that way? It is breed profiling; no different than racial profiling. Which may I remind you is against the law. German shephards, rottweilers, huskies, pit bulls, and great danes are all on the list and thats only to name a few. These animals have been atributes to our society since they have existed and centuries before that, performing such tasks as: fire rescue, search and rescue, pulling our sleighs through the icey snow to carry us to saftey, drug and bomb sniffing, aiding the disabled, seeing for the blind, ditecting desease, protecting our homes and our children and all the while finding time to be our best friend and our foot warmer at the end of the bed. all without asking anything in return other than our love. PLEASE sign this petition and help save the animals that have protected us since the dawn of time.
