http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/restoreyahoochat/ Dear Mr. Semel, We understand why Yahoo did away with the Yahoo User Chat Rooms, however since that time, the bots in the Yahoo created Chat Rooms have grown to an enormous number. We enjoyed the Yahoo Chat experience and our opportunity to meet and communicate with our chat friends from all over the world. We appreciate the Instant Message feature, but we miss the group chat in the rooms. It's difficult to enter rooms, and once we do, we find most of the "people" taking up space are actually bots. Although Yahoo Chat is free for us and Yahoo has to generate money to pay for this feature, we don't believe Yahoo has authorized all of the bots that have taken over so many rooms. If real people can't get in rooms, how does this benefit anyone? We respectfully request that Yahoo considers investigating the over abundance of bots and please eliminate the ones that are not authorized. Please restore the Yahoo Chat experience we all enjoyed.
