Western is a lot more laid back then western but if you start off riding english(like I did) its a lot easier to change over to western if you would rather ride western. I like it better because you use your brain more, it gives you more of a challenge, and you can do more things on it. But if you are a begginer you should try western. No, I don't have a horse, but I have horseback riding lessons at least once a week! I LOVE HORSES!!
