http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/rubygloomus/ <p>Nelvana's animated series 'Ruby Gloom' has been airing for almost two years now, and a quick Google search proves that the fandom is quite large, spread out over many different countries and age groups. As of June 8, 2008, there have been three DVD releases for the show in Australia. However, the show premiered in Canada, and not even they have been given a DVD release!</p><p>The purpose of this petition is to urge Nelvana to give us all a DVD release of this great cartoon, anywhere we may be. As of now, all we non-Australians have are the fan contributions available on YouTube (bless their hearts for doing so), but even that doesn't feel like enough. I for one would be willing to pay for a Season One box set of Ruby Gloom, and I hope to find enough people like me who will sign this petition and get the series available for everyone! (Well, particularly the U.S., but everybody deserves the opportunity to watch this cartoon).</p><p>I'll make sure to send the petition to Nelvana every few hundred signatures we get, that way we may end up with a release sooner rather than later.</p><p>Thanks for supporting the bright side of the dark side!&nbsp;</p> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br />Added by catula @ February 6, 2009, 1:03 am<br />------------------------------------------------------------------------<br />EDIT (2/5/09): Good news!
