Subscribers pay to watch HBO, and to me, that obliges HBO to finish what it starts. To lamely assert that the series came " to a natural end" not only disappoints Carnivale viewers, it insults their intelligence. Please - this is no substitution for the deeply poetic and energizing showdown between the age old battle between good and evil. The show had immpecable writing, great sub plots and extensively developed characters that drew my mother and my whole workplace, friends and many many others in - you can't leave it like that! It's a crime to mature minds! It is like watching a great movie - and the film cuts out and your told to go home after you paid $8.00 and only had 20 min to go and were about to find out "who done it".
