This war takes place on the internet, and the guns are the Minds and Keyboards of those who write Choose-Your-Own, and Second-person stories, sided with those that read them, and those whom own the sites that host stories like these, sided with those that despise the same. Mediaminer has taken cues, from the enemy, Fanfiction.net, and decided to block all Reader-insertions, and CYOA fics. This, is the next blow, and battle, in this war. Fanfiction War One. FWI. This petition was created by me, SilvernFalcon, the CYOA Crusader (title given by Ryani), to save -all- stories in second person. ALL, be they CYOAs or linear stories. As Ryani pointed out, MediaMiner has started a fanfiction cleanup on September 4, 2004. Now, it's up to us to stop this. Stories written in second person have as much effort put into them as any other. CYOAs often take up at least twice the time, twice the creativity, twice the imagination, and twice the effort to write. They're all written with as much passion, heart, and soul put into them as any other story. Perhaps even more. Please help us make a change and sign this petition! I agree. But the thing is we have to look at the way some cyoas are writen. Most have _(y/n)_ and that was how the WHOLE thing started. First mm.org tried to set a rule that did not allow this, but people still used it.
