http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/savegeaugelake/ It has come to my attention that Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom is no longer Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom.The Geauga Lake fair grounds will be closed down and the water park left up.Geauga Lake's amusement park has been a family fun park for years. My family has traditionally gone there every year since I was 4. As a child my father had went there with his family every year for their vacations. He looked forward to it every year as did I. When the water park opened up, yes I was excited but I had always favored the rides, snacks,shows, and characters over the water rides. This year I have learned the horrible news that William G. Spehn and/or Cedar Fairs has sold the land for use of condos. I honestly think that was a sad and wrong choice. They are disappointing many thousands even millions of people and I can assure you that they will not get as near as many customers with just a water park. Aside from that my family never liked Cedar Point as much as Geauga Lake because of its lack of children's rides and the long waits for rides.Also the park was a bit pricey and the water park was always extra charge. Geauga Lake was always non-hassle and enjoyable. It has been a family favorite since 1888 (being turned into Sea World and Six Flags at one point).I would like to conclude saying please help my cause of trying to win back Geauga Lake and ultimately, pardon, get rid of those stupid condos!!!
