The thought of America banning any animal is insane. Why should the dog be blamed for a few bad owners. People are looking at the wrong end of the leash. **According to CNN and a 5 year study there are on average 18 fatal dog attacks in the US annually. 1,000's of people die from alcohol and tobacco. Why aren’t we banning that. Think of how many pit bulls, mastiffs, rottweiler’s, and other so called aggressive breeds there are in just Florida alone. What percent have ever harmed, bitten, or attacked someone. It is less than 1% . In my personal opinion I think Chihuahua’s are the most aggressive breed of dogs. The one difference is the size of the dog. Go to a hospital and ask an E.R. doctor which breed of dog sends the most people to the E.R. for dog bites. Nine out of ten times its a Chihuahua or dog under 15 lbs. **Think twice about who or what you blame for dog related injuries and fatalities. **Research and know the facts before you make a statement on this very important topic. **I have been involved in the American Kennel Club dog shows from a young age. It was the smallest dogs that were the ones most likely to growl and try to bite someone. These are the best trained dogs there are. I have been around almost every dog breed there is. **It was and is People that breed dogs to what they want and it is our fault that pit bulls have become so strong over the years. Some people may not know that you should breed for good temperament and personality along with breed standard. It is something that can be improved in EVERY breed there is. **Yes pit bulls are very strong dogs, but they also have one of the biggest hearts.
