A Call For Action to Save the People of Darfur http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/savesudan/ 400,000 people have been killed in the Civil War taking place in Darfur, Sudan. Another 2,000,000 have had their homes destroyed and have been displaced by the war. Although most developed countries have condemned the destruction taking place there, the United Nations; the most powerful organization in the world, has refused to take strong action against the Sudanese government and it\'s leaders. Instead, they have let the Sudanese President commit these atrocities on the condition of staying in his homeland. The genocide in Darfur must be stopped. I have put out a nearly impossible goal: 1,000,000 signatures. I am a fourteen year old, living in South Florida. My name is Justin Watt. I have seen a problem many others have seen in our society. Together, however, we can stop the genocide taking place in Sudan. We must pressure world leaders to take action, by having no less than 1,000,000 people standing up against what they know is wrong.
