There are a few pairings that balance well, but none of them have the same chemistry that Nick and Sara have. Not only are these two largely opposites, but they work extremely well together (and are extremely cute). GSR, for example, is such a strained relationship. Neither of them are comfortable around each other. That in itself is a sign, especially if they've known one another in close proximity for years. Its clearly not a healthy relationship. For a relationship to work, the personalities and strengths of the pair involved need to coordinate, at least to some degree. Sara and Nick fit the description.
