http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/stophattrickinjury/ We, the undersigned, have noticed that the injury-system (which is a random setback-mechanism) has disproportional consequences. We are aware that injuries must exist in a football-simulation game and that setback-mechanisms must exist in every game, yet we disagree with the current implementation of the injury-system in Hattrick. Contrary to a suspension (where a player cannot participate during ONE game), injuries have FOUR heavy additional consequences. - Loss of training (suspended players can still play one game a week) - Ongoing 100% salary costs. - Form-drop (short-term decrease of playervalue) - Stamina-drop (longer-term decrease of playervalue) We would like to notify the Hattrick-developers that the "Stamina-drop" consequence came into existince after the new stamina-system was introduced a few seasons ago. Although the new stamina-system worsened the injury-mechanism, the Hattrick developers did not do anything to balance the heavier punishment for injuries. Again, there is nothing wrong with random injuries, yet the burden which the current system brings is disproportional for a random mechanism.That's why we, the undersigned, politely ask the Hattrick developers to change the maximum injury a player can get from 7 weeks to 3 weeks. This way, something as random as injuries will have less impact on the beautiful game of Hattrick.
