The Supreme Court in Washington State recently ruled that a mother&#39;s evesdropping on her daugyhter&#39;s telephone conversation was illegal after the mother had discovered fruits of a crime during one of her daughter&#39;s conversations with a boyfriend over the telephone and reported the information to police. Don&#39;t let Liberal Judges tell us how to raise our children! That case isn&#39;t about parenting, it&#39;s about Washington&#39;s privacy laws. No charges were filed against the mother who eavesdropped on her daughter&#39;s conversation. The Supreme Court&#39;s only ruling was to not allow the information the mother gathered concerning a crime to be admitted as evidence in a criminal case. Frankly, I don&#39;t think the people of Washington state should have to worry about thier neigbors listening in on their phone conversations.
