The current recast of Jennifer Bransford is not working, therefore we request you return Tamara Braun to the part she uniquely made her own as this current incarnation of Carly is not working with most of the fans. The age difference between Ms. Bransford and Tamara Braun is just too substantial to deny as well as the drastic difference in appearance. Ms. Bransford LOOKS older than Carly should be. We need a responsible show and returning Tamara to the role would help significantly. The character has also changed too radically since Tamara Braun vacated the role. Tamara created a strong, forceful Carly who was beginning to grow beyond the confining nature of the relationship with Sonny and by extension, Maurice Benard. The reltionship with Lorenzo Alcazar (Ted Kin) would have been a dynamic coupling had the producers been brave enough to go forward. Unfortunately, Ms. Bransford's uneven acting and moreso, her jarring appearance nagates any chemistry Carly and Lorenzo had. Tamara Braun's presence is essential for this couple to work. The hot chemistry with Tamara and Ted King was unmistakable and it is felt this was done deliberately so as to further a certain narrow thinking of this once great show. Namely, to further pimp useless characters like Reese Marshall and by extension Kari Wuhrer, and Sam McCall played by Kelly Monaco. Thank you for your time.
