http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/thailandimmigrate/ Dear Thailand Immigration Bureau, We, the undersigned below, would like you to please lift some of the restrictions for young people who want to live in Thailand. Many young people who have money saved up, or who have income from their home countries, would like to live in Thailand and spend their money in Thailand. But current immigration restrictions in Thailand make it very difficult for young foreigners to stay in Thailand longer than 3 months - 1 year. Many young people would like to stay longer than 1 year, but it is very difficult for young people because of the immigration laws. It is easier to stay in many other countries on a long-term basis, than it is to stay in Thailand. Those countries are not suffering economically. Thailand\'s economy would definately improve if you would make it easier for foreigners to travel to Thailand and stay for longer, so that they can spend their money in Thailand and help the economy. We understand that you do not want foreigners to take away jobs from thai natives, but there are many young people who already have money or income who would like to stay in Thailand and do not want to work thai jobs. Please take this into consideration. It can be very beneficial, not just for the foreigners, but also for the country of Thailand. Thank You.
