I am a 15 years old & Sailor Moon fan; I've watched this show since I was a baby!.. Sailor Moon to me was a hero... My hero!.. I always dreamed to be just like her, it may sound silly but I hate to see or should I say not see the power of Sailor Moon continue, even though there're fan clubs you can join like- www.sailormoon.com (click the picture, it'll take you directly there) & other fun interesting things you can find & do but I just want more & I really miss watching the shocking & fun episodes!.. Thank you very much & I hope anyone or everyone can help me rebuild this cool cartoon show!!! The answer someone recently gave me April, 26th, 2005 7:40 pm- -1. Online petitions never work. 2. DiC and ADV have lost their rights to the first two seasons of Sailor Moon, Geneon has lost their rights to the movies, and Toei is not allowing the companies to buy back the rights to those episodes/movies. Since no companies own the rights to those episode/movies anywhere in the English-speaking market, they can no longer be broadcasted anywhere on English-speaking television and the home video releases have been discontinued, although you can still buy the home videos at some stores. However, the companies aren't allowed to reproduce more copies anymore, so once all the VHS tapes and DVDs for those seasons and movies are sold out, that's the end for them, and this includes both the dub and sub versions. Although no official date has been set, Cloverway and Geneon are also expected to loose their rights to the S and Supers seasons sometime either later this year or next year, and once they loose their rights to those episodes, they will no longer be able to be broadcasted on English-speaking television anymore either, and the home video releases for those episodes will also be discontinued. So, there is no hope for Sailor Moon to return to English-speaking television. If you want to see the show so badly, you should just buy the DVDs as soon as you can. Wouldn't it be better to own it on DVD anyway? Not only will you have access to the uncut versions, but you'll also be able to watch it whenever you want, without having to worry about annoying commercials or having to rewind and fast-forward crappy VHS tapes.- I'm asking EVERYONE now to make this petition WORK, to make this COME TRUE so I can rub it in this persons face!!!
