http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/torchrelease/ As a fan of the group 'Blaque', I am writing this petition in the hope that either Atlantic Records or whoever owns the rights to Blaques album 'Torch' will be kind enough to make the album avaliable on legal download websites such as itunes. Their debut album had huge sales and managed to go platinum and spawned mega hit, 'Bring it all to me'. Surely with such big sales, 'Torch' would have people swarming to buy it. After 3 years of waiting, their second album 'Blaque Out' was shelved and the group were dropped from columbia records. I'm Good set up a buzz for their third studio album 'Torch'. However, it's release dates of August 6th 2003 and April 6th 2004 rolled by with still no sign of release. This left the fans feeling incredibly cheated and upset by the record company. Surely putting the album on itunes wouldn't cost alot and would be a good investment. People are literally dying to hear this album and huge numbers of people would download it. You wouldnt have to produce the cd or artwork just put it up for download and you'd make alot of money from it I guarantee. Also, alot of money was spent on the production of this album with top producers including Missy Elliott, Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins and Linda Perry being called in to contribute today. Their fans would surely download the tracks they produced. Also, I feel that it may bring some happiness back into the groups lives. Imagine how they feel with two unreleased albums, losing their mentor Lisa 'left-eye' Lopes after her tragic death, the death or one members parent and another member being left by her partner whilst pregnant. Please, please consider putting this on a legal download website as I'm sure it would be good for you, us (the fans) and music lovers everywhere.
