http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/truckers/ Please investigate the statistics on accidents involving big rigs truckers in Washington State. Everyday there are 3 or 4 reported on traffic reports. People are killed, maimed and injured everyday by these careless truckers. Law enforcement just ignores the law infractions made by these dangerous individuals while stopping automobiles for exceeding the speed limit by 6 miles per hour. A fully loaded big rig doing 70 is a lot more dangerous and an automobile doing 66. I have lived in the State for over 15 years and have yet to see even 1 trucker stopped for a violation even tho they constantly speed and drive in unauthorized lanes. I personally have been delibertally forced off the road by a trucker. The Attorney General answered by letter of protest regarding these truckers by saying they are checked constantly for being over weight which had nothing to do with what I was writing about.
