http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/vampscometoamerica/ VAMPS, popular Japanese rock band, was created by HYDE(L'Arc~en~Ciel/vo.)and K.A.Z (Oblivion Dust/guitarist) in early spring 2008. HYDE and K.A.Z have been working together on HYDE's solo projects since 2003, but have made it official, thus, "VAMPS" was born. As of yet, VAMPS have created extraordinary music, which has gone on to inspire millions around the world. Their lives are indescribable or "VAMPS-tastic," as their amazing fans would put it. Currently, their summer 2009 tour only includes dates in Japan. However, with this petition, we hope overseas dates will be added as well or maybe VAMPS could possibly consider a world tour. VAMPS have fans from all corners of the Earth, especially here in America. Given the current economic situation, for many, seeing a VAMPS live in Japan would be impossible. If VAMPS should come to the United States, however, we want to show them that the journey across the Pacific Ocean would not be in vain. Despite the economic situation, American fans are willing to do whatever it takes to see VAMPS live in America. HYDE and K.A.Z toured all over California for HYDE's 2006 "FAITH tour." Tickets were sold out in less than 10 minutes and fans flew from all over the U.S. to see them. So what has stopped them from returning? We want to show VAMPS that their music has inspired us and has lit a fire in our hearts. For American fans, music has transcended the language barrier: it is no longer a desire to see VAMPS live, but a necessity. By signing this petition, we will let VAMPS know that they are wanted and needed here. Our efforts may result in failure, but by starting this petition, we will let them know that we're serious. Remember, there is strengh in numbers and this effort can not be done alone. We need to have our voices heard and let VAMPS know that our hearts beat as one. We need to let them know that we are waiting for them to return to the United States of America.
