Rabbit fur is not a mere byproduct of meat consumption, tens of millions of rabbits are killed each year for the sole purpose of fur. On fur farms, rabbits are crammed in small cages and never get the chance to jump, dig, and play. When the rabbits are killed, their necks are snapped and broken or their skulls are crushed while they are still fully conscious - and then they're hung up by their legs and their heads are chopped off.
